Banasthali Vidyapith is a fully residential women’s higher education institute that provides an integrated education system from primary to Ph.D. levels.
Founded on October 6, 1935, by Smt. Ratan Shastri and Pandit Hiralal Shastri, Banasthali was established to address the void left by the untimely demise of their highly talented daughter, Shantabai. They envisioned her contributing to the cause of women’s empowerment as she grew older, but fate had other plans.
