1) Do I need to register with Truecopy to use the Truecopy service?
Yes, please register in case you have not done so already. On registration, you will get an auto-response with the detailed process and charges.
2) Which Indian Universities can you support?
The Indian Universities whose students we have helped to send transcripts are listed here.
3) Which Destinations do you send to?
We send electronic transcripts to over 3000+ destination universities. We also send to evaluation agencies. The non-Govt agencies are listed here. In addition, we also send to numerous Govt agencies. Please email if you have a specific agency in mind.
4) What is the process timeline?
After we receive your documents from the issuing institution as per our criteria and the one-time processing charges, it usually takes 3 working days to complete the initial processing & verification. You will then receive the destination selector link where you can select your destinations and make proportionate payment online. Your documents will be sent to the selected destinations usually within 2 working days after receipt of full payment.
Note: Due to COVID scenarios at various institutions, some of the steps can take longer than the time indicated above.
5) Can Truecopy collect my documents from my issuing Institute / University on my behalf?
In most cases, the student needs to trigger the sending of the documents (paper / electronic) from the issuing Institute / University as per their guidelines and have them sent to us directly either on our courier address or email. On receipt of the documents in both cases, we will verify the documents as per our process.
Note: We may usually be able to assist students with questions about processes at specific issuing universities.
6) If my Institute/University cannot send the Transcripts to you via email or post, can I courier the sealed envelope personally to your address?
Kindly email us the photos of the front and backside of the (Unopened) sealed, signed, and stamped Transcript envelopes that you have received from your Institute/University. Once we receive the photos, we will review them and if acceptable, provide you our address for courier. On receipt of the documents, we will verify the documents as per our process.
7) I have a sealed Transcript envelope, where should I send it?
Kindly email us the photos of the front and backside of the (Unopened) sealed, signed, and stamped Transcript envelopes that you have received from your Institute/University. Once we receive the photos, we will review them and provide you our address for the courier.
8) Do I need to send the documents to Truecopy again if I wish to send them to multiple destinations or in the future?
No. Once your documents have been received and verified by Truecopy, you can send them electronically to any number of destinations now or in the future.
9) Can I share self-attested or Gazetted copies for processing?
No. We do not accept self-attested or Gazetted copies of documents.
10) Can I share my original documents with Truecopy for processing?
No. Kindly do not send us any original paper documents in your possession.
11) Does Truecopy provide Transcript issuance services from Institutes/Universities in India?
Yes, we do in certain cases. Please write to us at support@truecopy.in with the details and we will respond.
12) I have registered a week ago but I have not received a response.
Auto-Responses including detailed information are sent on the same day. Kindly check your email / spam folder.
13) How can I track the status of my order?
We will provide you a link from where you can track status.
14) How do I choose a destination?
After your initial processing is done, you will receive a destination selection link sent by Truecopy from which you can select one or more destinations to send your documents.
15) Will I get a refund if I cancel my order?
Orders once placed are not refundable.
16) The Paper copy received in a sealed and signed envelope to Truecopy, will it be returned to the applicant after the process is completed?
The Paper copy received will be the property of Truecopy and it will be kept for future record & Audit Process.
