By using the Electronic Transcript service provided by Truecopy Credentials Pvt Ltd (TRUECOPY), You (the user) agree to the Terms of Service as follows:
1) You agree to use the Service only for the purpose it is intended and not misuse it in any way, interfere with it in anyway, or access it in any way other than via the latest or previous to latest versions of standard browsers such as Internet Explorer, Chrome or Firefox.
2) Using our Service does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our Services.
3) In connection with your use of the Service, we may send you service announcements, administrative messages, and other information, and you agree to act on those as required. You agree not to upload / enter any data that is inaccurate or provide wrong information of any type. Only the student whose documents are to be verified or procured may communicate with TRUECOPY.
4) You agree to keep confidential all links / data that you receive from our service. You also agree not to permit the use of weblinks assigned to you by third parties. If you learn of any unauthorized use of your private weblinks, you shall inform support@truecopy.in immediately.
5) PRIVACY
You agree that by using our service, your data will be shared with your college / institute, persons designated by your college / institute, persons acting on behalf of the recipients you designate for receiving your data and persons acting on behalf of Truecopy to provide you this service.
6) AVAILABILITY
This service is being made available via cloud-based servers located in a leading commercial data-center in India. We try to ensure high availability of the service. It is possible however that the service may not be available for small periods of time due to server inaccessibility / downtime for maintenence. We do not undertake to preserve your data for more than 1 year after your use of the service.
7) TIMELINES
Any time-lines mentioned by Truecopy either in emails or on the website are purely indicative. Actual timelines for individual cases may vary and cannot be stated upfront. Usually the amount of time taken to procure documents depends entirely on the issuing institutions and how quickly they provide them or perform verifications. Truecopy is not responsible for any delays on part of issuing institutions.
8) REFUNDS
Refunds if any, are provided under limited circumstances and governed by our refund policy. In no case shall refunds be provided for amounts paid on your behalf to any other entity including issuing institutions or courier agences.
9) ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
The information on this website including these Terms of Service may be upgraded from time to time. We are not liable if information at any time is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.
10) MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. These services are provided "AS IS". NEITHER TRUECOPY NOR ITS SUPPLIERS OR DISTRIBUTORS MAKE ANY SPECIFIC PROMISES ABOUT THE SERVICES, THE SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE SERVICES, THEIR RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, TIMELINES, OR ABILITY TO MEET YOUR NEEDS.
Truecopy does not assume responsibility for services delivered by a third party such as a Courier Service, postal service or evaluation service.
12) LIABILITY
TRUECOPY AND YOUR COLLEGE / INSTITUTION WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, OR DATA, FINANCIAL LOSSES OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY OTHER KIND RESULTING FROM THE USE OF OUR SERVICE. THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF TRUECOPY UNDER ANY AND ALL CONDITIONS, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID to TRUECOPY.
13) INDEMNITY
YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY TRUECOPY AND YOUR COLLEGE / INSTITUTION AGAINST ANY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICES.
14) If you are using our Services on behalf of another entity, that entity accepts these terms. It will hold harmless and indemnify TRUECOPY from any claim, suit or action arising from or related to the use of the Services or violation of these terms.
15) If you request an acknowledgement from a recipient via TRUECOPY service, the responsibility of providing such an acknowledgement lies with the recipient and not with TRUECOPY.
16) GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pune, India.
