Apex Professional University (APU) is a Statutory University established by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh through Act 07 of 2013. It holds recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of HRD, Government of India, New Delhi, under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, as a State Private University. APU is vested with the authority to confer degrees specified by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. Additionally, APU holds membership in the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. Furthermore, it is endorsed by regulatory bodies including the Council of Architecture (CoA), Bar Council of India (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE).
