The Bombay College of Pharmacy (BCP) stands as a trailblazing institution in the field of pharmaceutical education in India. Established in 1957 by the Indian Pharmaceutical Association – Maharashtra State Branch (IPA-MSB), BCP’s inception was made possible through financial support from the Government of Maharashtra and various pharmaceutical corporations.
Originally established as a college offering a Diploma in Pharmacy, BCP has since grown in prominence and currently offers a comprehensive range of educational programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences, including Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees.
Over the years, BCP has made a significant impact, producing more than 1500 Pharmacists, 300 M. Pharm graduates, and 170 PhD recipients. Many of its alumni have ascended to prominent positions in both the pharmaceutical industry and academia, not only in India but also on the global stage.
