Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City, Chittoor, commonly known as IIIT Sri City (IIITS), was founded in 2013 under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, recognized as an Institute of National importance by an Act of Parliament. IIITS is one of the 20 Institutes across India with a focus on Information Technology education, research, and development.
IIITS was established through a collaborative effort involving the Government of India, Government of Andhra Pradesh, and Industry Partners represented by Sri City Foundation, operating as a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) institution. The governance of the institute is overseen by the Board of Governors, comprising distinguished personalities from the Government, Industry, and Academia.
Transcripts from IIIT Sri City contain the marks of each subject from the first to last semester. This is then placed in an envelope which is sealed and stamped/signed across the back-flap.
