In response to the recommendations put forth by the Central Sanskrit Commission appointed by the Government of India in the 1950s, a Central Sanskrit Institute was inaugurated at Tirupati in 1961 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. This initiative was undertaken to uphold and promote Traditional Sanskrit learning while integrating modern research methodologies. To oversee the administration of the institution, the Government of India established an autonomous registered body known as the ‘Kendriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha Tirupati Society
Transcripts from Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha contain the marks of each subject from the first to last semester. This is then placed in an envelope which is sealed and stamped/signed across the back-flap.
