Founded in 1981 by the Sisters Society of St. Ann, St. Ann’s College was established under the visionary leadership of Smt. Thatipatri Gnanamma. Devoted to enlightening and educating underprivileged young girls, Gnanamma dedicated her life to this noble cause.
Currently, the college boasts a student body of over 2800 and a teaching faculty comprising 100 lecturers. Affiliated with Osmania University, St. Ann’s College for Women received accreditation at the ‘A’ Level from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) on October 17, 2006, following the recommendation of the appointed Peer Team.
