Founded in 1961 by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal, Mithibai College of Arts and Chauhan Institute of Science emerged to meet the rising demand for higher education in Mumbai’s western suburbs. To address the increasing needs, Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce & Economics was established in 1981. Acknowledging its commitment, the college holds linguistic minority status for the Gujarati community. Starting from a modest two-storey building, the institution has evolved into a nine-storey edifice, dominating the Juhu landscape.
