The mission of NCEES is to advance licensure for engineers and surveyors in order to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
This mission is supported through its member boards, board of directors, staff, board administrators, and volunteers by:
• Providing outstanding nationally normed examinations for engineers and surveyor
• Providing uniform model laws and model rules for adoption by the member boards
• Promoting professional ethics among all engineers and surveyors
• Coordinating with domestic and international organizations to advance licensure of all engineers and surveyors
Through education, experience, and exams, professional engineering and surveying licensure establishes an important verification of expertise that is critical in safeguarding the public.
NCEES also provide other services like Records Program, Credentials Evaluation and CPC tracking.
NCEES Credentials Evaluations is a service for state licensing boards and applicants. It is designed primarily for candidates who have earned their degrees outside the United States and are pursuing licensure through one of the member licensing boards of NCEES.
You can apply for the evaluation directly on NCEES’ website. Once you apply, NCEES will need official copies of your academic transcripts. We are official partners of NCEES for verified transcripts delivery. You can order your documents to be sent to NCEES by applying on Electronic Transcripts.
